1.  some, any должны стоять перед существительным, которое они определяют.
2. Some – какой-то, некоторый, сколько-то, несколько.
     Any переводится так же, и  может переводиться как «любой».
3. Местоимение some используют в утвердительных предложениях.
    Местоимение any используется в вопросительных и отрицательных
    предложениях вместо some. 

    + I have some books.  У меня есть несколько книг.
    ? Do you have any books? У тебя есть сколько-нибудь книг?
    - I don't have any books.  У меня нет никаких книг.

   +  There are some books.
   ? Are there any books?
    - There are not any books.
