  в существует 3 степени сравнения прилагательных: простая, сравнительная и превосходная. если перед вами слово из одного слога (hot, big, cool, kind) — просто добавьте окончание -er к концу прилагательного и получите сравнительную степень. например: hot-hotter wide-wider big-bigger kind-kinder   но не стоит забывать, что есть еще и превосходная степень (это когда что-то самое-самое лучшее\красивое\быстрое). так вот, если у нас по-прежнему слово из одного слога, то превосходная степень образуется прибавлением артикля the в начале слова и окончания -est в конце. например: hot-hotter-the hottest wide-wider-the widest big-bigger-the biggest kind-kinder-the kindest если у вас слово из нескольких слогов (polite, beautiful, sophisticated, efficient), то образование происходит при слов more в сравнительной степени и the most в превосходной. например: sophisticated — more sophisticated — the most sophisticated efficient — more efficient — the most efficient

New Year is my favourite holiday. New Year is celebreted since 31 December up to 1 January. Main heroes of this holiday Father Frost and Snow Maiden.  In the city the streets and shop windows are decorated with bright and motley garlands.  People begin to prepare for the holiday.  They decorate their flats with different decorations. We also decorate the New Year tree colourful lights, tinsel, toys ad balls.Families go shopping and buy various presents. Some people make presents themselves. And all people put presents under tree. New Year's Eve always seems magical and unforgettable. At midnight chiming clock begins to strike. We wish each other a happy New Year and make a wish and then exchange gifts.
