wealthy romans moved to their two homes near the sea and spent the summer there.renaissance europe witnessed trips of educate people to several european countries admire art and architecture. the steam engine which invent in the 19th century put an end to the horse-and-buggy era and made boat and train journeys possible. the cost of travelling reduce even more in the early 1970s with the arrival of jumbo jets. the rise of budget airlines had made trips to faraway countries even cheap . in recent years tourism grow very much because our lifestyles​
