Superstitions are beliefs that have no rational proof.

There are superstitions for fun, such as finding a four-leaf clover that will bring good luck to you, but most often people hold to superstitions out of fear. This fear is caused by understanding that much of our life is beyond our control — natural disasters, car accidents, or diseases. So people try to do something to attract more good luck. Some of them always carry good luck charms, others do their best not to bring a misfortune upon themselves. I think that these people's life is difficult. They have to remember all those superstitions and proper actions to protect themselves from bad luck. For example, if a black cat crosses their path, they should walk backwards ten steps to avoid bad luck.

I find it very funny and I don't believe in any superstitions.

Я думаю, что этим людям трудно живется. Они должны помнить все эти суеверия и соответствующие действия для защиты от невезения. Например, если черная кошка перебежит им дорогу, они должны пройти десять шагов спиной вперед, чтобы избежать неудачи.

Я нахожу это очень забавным, и я не верю ни в какие суеверия.

Приметы и суеверия появились много веков, и даже тысячелетий назад. Древние люди пытались объяснить мир так, каким они его себе представляли. Это послужило причиной появления многочисленных суеверий и верований. И, несмотря на то, что большинство из них практически не содержат истины, люди продолжают им верить, и так оно и должно быть. Человек не может знать всего, а значит, он будет продолжать строить догадки и выдвигать гипотезы о том, как устроен мир. Все мы немного суеверны. Это заложено в нас природой. И верить в суеверия,или нет,это личное решение каждого.
