What is "American" food? The answer is that it is part Italian, part British, part German, part Mexican, part Chinese… When people from other countries came to live in the US, they brought different cooking traditions. Some of them opened restaurants. Today Americans enjoy food from all over the world. Over the years some foreign dishes changed a little. Doughnuts were originally from Holland. In 1847 a young American boy told his mother that her doughnuts were never cooked in the middle. He cut out the centre and his mother cooked them — and they were very tasty! Maybe the US is most famous for "fast foods". The first fast food restaurants served hamburgers, but now they serve other kinds of food too. Inside there is often a "salad bar", where you can help yourself to as much salad as you want. Americans eat a lot, and when they go to a restaurant, they don't expect to be hungry afterwards. Most restaurants will put a lot of food on your plate — sometimes it can be too much. But if you can't finish it all, don't worry: they will give you a "doggy bag" and you can take it home. Most Americans now have a light breakfast instead of the traditional eggs, bacon, toast, orange juice and coffee. But on weekends there is more time, and a large late breakfast or early lunch is often eaten with family or friends.
Reading improves our Outlook and helps us to think more broadly. In addition, the reading log provides an opportunity to learn about new trends in modern life, social trends and so on. It is known that the variety of magazines on today's market indefinitely. Thus, everyone can choose something interesting. For example, my classmate can't wait for the latest issue of "Cosmopolitan" , "Viva", etc. They believe that the articles in these journals can help in their lives. So I can say " tastes differ ". As for me, I enjoy art in any form. That's why I'm trying to read as many interesting articles relating to modern art. I think it helps in self-realization and gives a more complete picture of the world, since it is known that art reflects all the trends that exist in society. There is one magazine that is quite useful in this exciting process. It's called "Sho ". It positions itself as an underground art magazine. On its pages I always find something interesting to read. For convenience it is divided into sections devoted to contemporary theater, news in the field of cinema and the great films, modern literature and music. Usually, I read the reviews by different film festivals, e.g. Cannes film festival. I learn new and interesting music bands and even musical direction. On the pages devoted to tourism, I learn about the exciting attractions and opportunities to travel around the world. Чтение улучшает наше мировоззрение и нам мыслить шире. Они считают, что статьи в этих журналах могут в их жизни. Так что я могу сказать - " О вкусах не спорят ". Что касается меня, я увлекаюсь искусством в любом виде. Вот почему я пытаюсь читать как много больше интересных статей, касающихся современного искусства. Я думаю, что это в самореализации и дает более полное представление о мире, так как известно, что искусство отражает все тенденции, которые существуют в обществе. Существует один журнал, который довольно полезен в этом захватывающем процессе. Он называется "Шо ". Он позиционирует себя как андеграунд-арт журнал. На его страницах я всегда нахожу что-то интересное, о чем можно почитать. Для большего удобства он разделен на разделы, посвященные современному театру, новостям в области кино и самых замечательных фильмов, современной литературе и музыке. Обычно, я читаю обзоры разных кинофестивалей, например, Каннский кинофестиваль. Я узнаю новые интересные музыкальные коллективы и даже музыкальные направления. На страницах, посвященных туризму, я узнаю о захватывающих достопримечательностях и возможностях путешествовать по всему миру
