Lev Ivanovich Yashin (1929 — 1990) is a footballer (goalkeeper), Olympic champion 1956, European champion, USSR.

Born Lev Yashin 22 October 1929 in Moscow into the family of workers. During the great Patriotic war in the biography Yashin moved to the Volga region. Despite the fact that in 1943 Leo began to work at the factory, much time was dedicated to playing football.
