Thank you for writing to me. I waited a long time for your letter. Just a week ago, I returned from a trip to Russia. It was a very exciting trip. I saw a lot of things and learned about this country. Did you know that Russians are not really afraid of the cold? This place is very cold in winter, but so beautiful. I hope that someday we will visit Russia together again and you can see the snow. First we arrived in Petersburg. You can’t imagine how beautiful the golden cathedrals are. I think it is in this city that all Russian history lives. This city really made me special impressions. Then we drove on and visited Volgograd, Krasnodar, Pavlograd ... Each of them had a large cathedral with its own history. All the time I wanted to visit Red Square, and now, finally, we arrive in Moscow. The capital itself is different from other cities, it seemed to me more lively, more modern, but even there were churches. Right on the square you can see the huge St. Basil's Cathedral and the so-called Moscow Kremlin. I visited the Bolshoi Theater, and even visited the famous Tretyakov Gallery. In one letter, I will not be able to express the emotions that I felt during the trip. People in this country are so kind and sympathetic that I want to go back right now. By the way, I managed to make many friends there. I just can't believe my little dream has come true. It was one of the most wonderful trips of my life.

Думаю, именно в этом городе живёт вся русская история. Этот город действительно вызвал у меня особые впечатления. Затем мы поехали дальше и побывали в Волгограде, Краснодаре, Павлограде... В каждом из них был большой собор со своей историей. Всё время поездки я мечтала побывать на Красной Площади, и вот, наконец, мы прибываем в Москву. Сама столица отличается от остальных городов, она показалась мне более оживлённой, более современной, но даже там не обошлось без храмов. Прямо на площади можно заметить огромный храм Василия Блаженного и так называемый Московский Кремль. Я побывала в Большом театре, и даже посетила знаменитую Третьяковскую галерею. В одном письме я не смогу выразить те эмоции, которые ощутила во время поездки. Люди в этой стране такие добрые и отзывчивые, что хочется прямо сейчас вернуться обратно. Кстати, мне удалось завести там немало друзей. Я не могу поверить, что моя маленькая мечта сбылась. Это была одна из самых чудесных поездок в моей жизни.

How are you? Christmas is coming! How are you going to celebrate? I will celebrate it at home with family. We will make a lot of Christmas cakes and cookies. And have you made the menu? Anyway, we will celebrate Christmas in school before holidays. In my class it is very difficult to organize celebrations. There is very little help from our teacher and my class is very disorganized. Also there will be a disco and a competition on Christmas in school. Last year several girls and boys brought food and pizza! This year I think will do the same.
