Russia is the largest country in the world. It has a long and interesting history. The country is famous for its numerous places of interest. The capital of Russia is Moscow, and it’s the biggest city in the country. Another big and famous city in Russia is Saint Petersburg. It has once been a capital of the country. These two cities have the majority of Russian sights. For example, the Kremlin, which is situated in the heart of Moscow, the Bolshoi Theater, which is also in Moscow and many others.

Also, tourists can take part in some authentic festivals when visiting these cities. Another famous sight in Russia is situated in the center of Asia. It’s called Altay. Many tourists want to see this amazing region, which is known for its crystal clear lakes, high mountains and other natural wonders. The deepest lake in the world, Baikal, is also situated in Russia, in the East Siberian region. 

As always in the summer in clear weather. In our city there are many universities and technical schools. To study to us come not only from all republic, but also from other countries. We have many monuments. For example, Lenin and Chapaev. We also have museums. They can learn the history of our republic. Also come exhibitions from other cities. Recently came the Kunstkammer from St. Petersburg. In recent years, new playgrounds have been installed in the yards. And they built many new hospitals.My city is on the bank of the Volga River. And in summer, the townspeople like to swim and sunbathe on its shore. There are several beaches on the Volga where people rest. In summer, a ferry goes to the other side. And you can go on it to the other side. In winter it's beautiful too. You can ride a sled. In different areas there are ski bases. And fans of this sport can dive. There are many churches in my city. There are several mosques. I have a calm, quiet city. I really like it here.
