For this reason, Aisha-Bibi decided to run away from home to her lover along with her nanny Babaji-Khatun. After the father found out about his daughter's deed, he shouted after her: "You will cross six rivers, but you won't cross the seventh one." Soon Aisha-Bibi crossed six rivers, and on the seventh one she was bitten by a poisonous snake. Karakhan managed to come to her while she was still alive and they held a marriage ceremony. After the death of Aisha-Bibi, Karakhan ordered the construction of the Aisha-Bibi mausoleum to immortalize the name of his wife. Currently, the mausoleum is an elegant, majestic building, an architectural monument and a landmark of Kazakhstan.
