Предлог (preposition) – самостоятельная часть речи. Обычно предлоги обозначают место, направление или время. Предлоги обычно ставятся перед существительным. Один и тот же предлог может переводится по-разному, в зависимости от контекста. Например, at the window = у окна; at 2 o’clock = в 2 часа. Будьте внимательны при переводе предлогов на русский язык (может быть большое количество вариантов)

Формы английских предлогов

Простые:

at – у, около, в, на;

against – против, лицом к, на;

Производные (происходят от слов из других частей речи):

concerning – касательно, относительно;

including – включая, в том числе;

depending – в зависимости;

Сложные (включают в себя несколько компонентов):

within – внутри, в пределах, не далее;

wherewith – чем, посредством которого.

Составные (представляют собой словосочетание — включают в себя слово из другой части речи + 1 или 2 предлога):
