The possibility saw the Northern Lights was Laura’s main reason for visiting the Shetland Islands. She had been looking forward went there for ages. I was more interested in getting some rest and fresh air.
When we arrived, Laura had a headache, so I insisted put up the tent myself. She apologised for not helping and decided to go for a walk. I didn’t object to her going as I’m not very keen walking and I thought it might help her headache. And anyway, I can rarely prevent her did what she wants to do!
Soon, it got very dark. I decided to look for Laura. I was afraid of getting lost but I needn't have worried - suddenly, there were curtains of red, green and white light everywhere. It was the Northern Lights!
