My favourite fruit is apples.

Apples can be green, yellow or red. Fully ripe apples taste sweet or sour-sweet. Some apples taste better when cooked, some other apples must be eaten fresh. My favourite kinds of apples are Fuji, Jonagold and Granny Smith — they are always crisp, sweet and juicy.

I also like apple pies and apple jam.

The best thing about apples is that we can eat them all year round!
