My most favorite place in the city of Volzhsky is a park of culture and rest. Over the whole area of ​​the park of culture and rest in Volzhsky, over 3000 different bushes and trees have been planted, among which there are firs, pines, birches and chestnuts. There are 10 amusement rides around the park, and recently their number has slightly increased.

The main alley of the park along the perimeter is dotted with a lot of fountains, as well as snow-white sculptures in the style of socialist realism - the figures reflect the working class of Soviet times.

In the park of culture and recreation in Volzhsky also there are variety platforms, on which annual festive events and performances take place. Two years ago on the main avenue of the park was installed a real chess board with figures in an increased size - periodically in the park there are chess tournaments among tourists. The symbol of the park of culture and rest in the city of Volzhsky was a rotunda - a round gazebo in antique style, framed on the perimeter by columns and crowned with a dome. In the evening, my closest friends came to visit us, and we went for a walk. Since there is a cozy green park near the house with several attractions, we did not have to miss. When it began to get dark in the street, I invited the guys to look at my telescope, after which we spent an hour with him, staring at the stars. The picture was delicious.
