Камчатский коричневый медведь очень-очень большой Он может весить 400 кг. Когда он встает, может быть 2 с половиной метра в высоту. Он очень сильный , с большими зубами и длинными когтями(?) на лапах. Эти большие животные обычно очень мирные- в отличие от Сибирских медведей. Большую часть года они любят быть в густых лесах и есть ягоды, орехи и корни. В летние месяцы миллионы лососей плывут в камчатские реки из моря. Эта рыба - любимая еда медведей. Медведи путешествуют сотни километров чтобы жить рядом с рекой и ловить лосось. Медведи очень хорошие пловцы и их густой мех сохраняет тепло в ледяной воде. Когда лето заканчивается, медведи возвращаются в лес Здесь они делают теплую берлогу(?), где они могут провести зиму.
