 I like watching movies very much, especially at the cinema. I can say that I’m a cinemagoer. Every time new film comes out me and my friends go to watch it. The nearest cinema is at the mall. It’s a brand new building with comfortable halls. We’ve watched many films that I enjoyed but my favourite was one Russian film called “Elki”. It’s a bright New Year comedy, which consists of two parts: “Elki-1” and “Elki-2”. The first movie appeared a year ago and the second one appeared on screens this year. I liked both films because they were excellent. The title “Elki” translated into English means fir-trees. Traditionally, all Russian families decorate fir-trees on the New Year’s Eve. The biggest fir-tree is put up in Moscow on Red Square. The film shows how families in different cities of the country get ready for the New Year celebration. Some people even get into troublesome but funny situations. There are lots of characters in the movie who find love and friendship. I liked this film very much because there were many kind and positive moments. There were also some of my favourite actors, such as Ivan Urgant, Sergey Svetlakov, Gosha Kutsenko and others. If you haven’t seen this film yet, I recommend it.

Each person has one Motherland. This is the place on its large territory, where he was born, grew up, who repeatedly measured with his feet. My Motherland is Ukraine.
I am happy that I was born and live in Ukraine. I love her for the boundless, beautiful, vast expanses. Go out into the field - and you'll admire the fields of high rye, which is like two tall walls. Go into it - and you will hide its spikelets. Only the blue sky is your sign. Caresses the soul of such beauty. It seems that eternity would go by this path, if only it was not running out. And the architecture of Ukrainian cities! Kiev, Kharkiv, Lviv. It shows the high level of culture of our ancestors.

 Who did not admire Sophia Kiev and Golden Gate of the princely city, Vydubitsky Monastery and Kiev-Pechersk Lavra with the Assumption Cathedral, the old Podol gray-haired Boris Dome? All these are spiritual symbols of national history and culture, without which our land is not conceived.
For fifteen centuries it has been hanging on the Dnieper slopes of the Golden-domed Kyiv - the Capital of Ukraine, which had a historical mission to become the "mother of Russian cities", to play an important role in the formation of one of the largest states of Europe in Kievan Rus.
Looking around from the height of the Kiev hills far away from the Dnieper, one can not help thinking: where did we go, whose children are we? I want to know who lived on our lands for several thousand years and what language our ancestors communicated, what is the origin of the word "Ukraine".
Examining your native land, you admire its beauty and grandeur. What a breadth! What a space! In the west, the green Carpathian Mountains rise, in the south the golden wheat sea gilds, in the east are the heaps of the Donetsk mines, in the north the red forest calydra turns purple. And all this is my Motherland - Ukraine.
