Summer is my favorite season of the year because the weather in this period is almost always hot and dry and we have a lot of time to spend outdoors. There are always some downpours during summer in my region, but even when it rains you can feel that the drips coming from above are warm, not cold, so it is pleasant to stay outdoors during rain.
At this time we have summer holidays and I can honestly say, that this is the most amazing time I have every year! As a rule, my family travels to the coast of the sea of Azov or to the Black sea. We spend several days in different towns and small villages that are situated on the sea coast. We do almost nothing except lying in the sun and getting a gorgeous tan. More often than not, we go there in July when the water in the sea becomes warm enough to swim. The nature of coastal towns is so beautiful, there are lots of blossoming flowers, green trees, and various insects flying up and down buzzing and making being there even more pleasant!
Sometimes I don't travel with my parents and spend a part of the summer in a summer camp. It is also a wonderful pastime! We have a lot of things to do there, like playing football and volleyball on the beaches of the rivers and boating with adults who are responsible for our safe water activities. In the evening children sit around a campfire playing board games like chess and checkers. We sing songs and tell jokes about our friends and school. We go to bed a bit later than usual then because we do love staying in the warm, fresh air and communicate with one another!
