Among the peoples celebrating Nauryz, it has become a tradition: the more generous the holiday, the more prosperous the year will pass. Victory Day is a celebration of the victory of the Red Army and the Soviet people over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. It is celebrated on March 9 by the whole country. Military parades are held on Victory Day. July 6 in Kazakhstan "Capital Day". Day of the capital in Nur-Sultan has been celebrated since the city acquired its capital status in 1998. Previously, this holiday was celebrated at the city level on June 10. But in 2006 it was moved to June 6th. There are many more different holidays in Kazakhstan.
