You would like to get some work experience during your last year at school and you have seen this advertisement in the local newspaper. Write a letter of application for the position.

WORK EXPERIENCE STUDENTS REQUIRED AT CITY HOSPITAL

We can offer work experience for one month in the following areas:

• delivering meals and drinks to patients

• working in the visitors’ café

• helping visitors at our Information Desk

Send an email to Mrs Sharp, HR Manager, giving information about yourself, and saying which area of the hospital you would like to work in and why.

1. Artos and his family lived in one of the tribes in Britain.
2. His father looked worried because he knew, that one Saxon king was coming there with a great army.
3. The enemies of Artos and his tribe were Angles and Saxons.
4. Artos' tribe was going to leave their land forever.
5. Artos hated the Angles and the Saxons because they brought war to Britain and were slowly taking all of Britain.
6. At night Artos couldn't sleep, he was thinking about the horrible news of their enemies. While thinking he was playing with the main treasure of their tribe - his father's ring. Then Artos put the ring on his finger, fell asleep and had a very strange dream.

6. Ночью Артос не мог спать, он думал об ужасной новости о надвигающихся врагах. Он играл с главным сокровищем своего племени - кольцом отца. Затем Артос надел кольцо на палец, заснул и увидел очень странный сон.

"Путешествие в Анапу"

I`d like to tell you about my summer trip to the sea. Last year my family and I went to Anapa. I was very interested in this resort, that`s why I often took pictures of beautiful places there. We were very lucky with the weather. The sea was warm. That is why my sister and I swam for a long time. Our parents couldn`t make us to come back to the beach. It was funny!

In the evening we went to the park. There were a lot of side-shows in it. I tried all of them and I liked them very much.

We had a very interesting menu for our breakfasts, dinners and suppers. There is a lot of fruit in it.

We stayed in the hotel. There was a garden near it. There were many flowers in the garden.

It was the best holiday in my life!

ПЕРЕВОД:Мне бы хотелось рассказать о моем путешествии на море. В году я и моя семья ездили в Анапу. Там я часто фотографировала красивые места, потому что очень интересовалась этим курортом. Нам очень повезло с погодой. Море было теплое, поэтому мы с сестрой подолгу плавали. Наши родители не могли заставить нас выйти на берег. Это было смешно!

Вечером мы ходили в парк. Там было много аттракционов. Я на всех покаталась и мне они очень понравились.

На завтрак, обед и ужин у нас было очень интересное меню. В нем было много фруктов.

Мы останавливались в отеле. Около него был сад. В саду было много цветов.

Это были лучшие каникулы в моей жизни!
