The Yeoman Warders or ‘Beefeaters’  

1  The Beefeaters guard the Tower of London. – Бифитеры охраняют Лондонский Тауэр.   (Перевод слова Beefeaters-'мясоеды’, но чаще говорят просто по-русски ‘Бифитеры’).

2  They act as guides for tourists. – Они проводят экскурсии для туристов.

3  They also take care of (the eight big black) ravens that live in the Tower. – Они также заботятся о (8и больших чёрных) воронах, которые живут в Тауэре.

4  They have two uniforms. – У них две формы.

(One is for Holidays and the other one is for every day. - Праздничная и повседневная)- это можно пропустить)

5  There are 36 Yeoman Warders at the Tower and they are all men who were in the armed forces. – В Тауэре 36 охранников и они все служили в вооружённых силах.

6  They live in the Tower with their families. – Они живут в Тауэре co своими семьями.

7 Nobody knows exactly where their name ‘Beefeaters’ came from. – Никто точно не знает, как появилось их название – ‘Бифитеры’.  

Hurray ! We are we having holidays!

Autumn holidays are very short - only 7 days.

I`m not going to travel, I won`t go to the seaside, I won`t visit my Granny in the village. However, I like autumn holidays. I will have a lot of time for my favourite activities.

In the afternoon I`ll play with my little sister and walk with her outdoors. We will pick up yellow beautiful leaves and watch the smart trees.

In the evenings I will read books and improve my English language.

It`s so great to have autumn holidays!
