it happened about a year ago. our family bought a new car, and parents decided to celebrate it all together in the cafe. we enjoyed great food, had a conversation and a lot of fun. dad was happy and he told us many jokes, everybody laughed more and more. we played the fools and couldn't stop.when it was time to go, dad paid and left cafe to warm up the car, and mom, her friend, my brother and i lingered in the cafe. when we went out, we realised that it was already dark outside - so we couldn't see well. and the second thing we reailsed was the fact, that nobody can remember exactly, what our new car looks like! but mom confidently went toward the black car, that was standing nearly. "oh, dad is waiting inside, it's ours. come on".
just imagine: the company of four very noisy people, singing, talking loudly, laughing out, get into car. mum turn to driver and exclaimed cheerfully: "sasha, let's go! " driver looked at us with eyes full of fear and cried out desperatly: "i am not sasha, i am ! who are you? ! "then we, absolutly confused and quiet, get in the right car, we told dad about it. he couldn't drive for 5 minutes becouse of laughing.

"вот и папа уже нас ждёт, это наша машина, пошли".
просто представитье: компания из четырёх шумных людей, поющих, громко разговаривающих и хохочущих, вваливаются в машину. мама поворичавается к водителю и радостно восклицает: "саша, поехали! " посмотрел на нас глазами, полными ужаса, и отчаянно возопил: "я не саша, я егор! кто вы все? ! "и мы, абсолютно сконфуженные и притихшие, наконец сели в нужную машину и рассказали об этом папе. он ещё 5 минут не мог тронуться с места от смеха.

I know nothing about you yet but I admire you because I feel thankful for giving me the opportunity to become a part of your
family. You are giving me a chance to realize my cherished dream to spend a year in Amerika and get to know wonderful country,
your people and culture.
My name is Maryna. I am 16 years old. I live in the north of Ukraine in one of the most beautiful and ancient cities of our country.
There are a lot of historical churches. Can you imagine that it is more than 1300 years old? I live in a spacy flat with my family.
There are 3 people in my family, including my father, my mother and me. My parents are very caring and understanding. My
mother is kind and intelligent. My father is serious and very gentle. They teach me to be friendly, honest and responsible. Every
member of our family has special duties about the house, Mine, include tidying up my room, watering plants, vacuuming,
shopping for groceries and helping my mother with cooking.
As my parents work a lot and my week days are full of different activities, we seize every opportunity to spend time together on
holiday and weekends. We enjoy going to the movies, in summer we are fond of going on picnics or to the forest.
Also my and family and I like travelling. We have been to some countries, such as France, Poland, Germany. These countries are
full of European cultural heritage. After visiting some of them we take up new hobbies. After visiting Poland I started embroidering
and my mother got interested in cooking Polish national dishes.
By the way, I have very versatile interests. I enjoy so many different things: learning foreign languages, playing the piano, taking
photos, reading, listening to music and even attending school. :) I like to learn about new things, socialize with my friends and
classmates, participate in different parties, concerts and contests.
My friends would describe me as a very determined, organized and easy-going person. On our vacation, we usually spend a lot of
time together. We often visit different concerts, go to the cinema and have fun. Most of my friends are my childhood friends.
Although I have a lot of interests I still don't know what profession to choose. I like many school subjects: languages, Maths,
Geography and Physics. I believe that hard work and determination will help me to become a good professional in the field which I
will choose.
Of course, I want to tell you more about my family and our traditions. The most favourite holiday in our family is New Year's Day.
For starters, it is a time when my family decorate our Christmas tree and buy presents to give to each other. When I was small I
received gifts from Ded Moroz, which is a similar character to Santa Claus. My mother and I prepare dinner and arrange party to
celebrate New Year. We invite our friends and relatives and have fun together.
To sum up, meeting new people and getting new experience is very important for me. I believe the year in the USA will help me in
my future.
