The giraffe.
The giraffe is the tallest animal. His head is about five meters above the ground. It has its good and bad sides. The giraffe can eat leaves from high trees because he has a long neck and a strong tongue. But it’s difficult for the giraffe to eat the grass. When the giraffe drinks water, lions and leopards often hide in the tall grass ready to catch him. It is very bad for the giraffe, because he can’t raise his head quickly and run away. The giraffe can live for months without water.
He gets most of the water from what he eats. Also, because his heads is so far from the ground, a giraffe can see danger and can quickly walk away or run away.

2 Family dinner on the eve of the holiday (Christmas Eve), which is held on December 24. All relatives gather at the table. Of course, everyone exchanges gifts. There is even such a thing as "Secret Santa" (Secret Santa). The essence of this ceremony is that everyone takes one piece of paper out of the hat in turn, i.e. a lot is drawn, which determines who gives a gift to whom. At the same time, the name of "Santa" remains a secret for what gets a present.

Christmas carols (hymns) are widespread in America. You may have heard some of them. The most popular hymns are "Hark the Herald Angels Sing", "Silent Night". Sometimes on the streets on Christmas Eve you can meet a choir singing Christmas songs. Children dressed in angelic costumes sing Christmas carols, praise God and the birth of his son Jesus.

Festive parades are organized in many cities. Everyone dresses up in themed costumes, and huge columns pass through the central streets, creating a festive atmosphere and setting a good mood for the audience. Christmas is celebrated in America on a large scale.
