Some people believe that teenagers do not read newspapers or magazines nowadays, but this point of view is only partially true: there are teenagers who love reading in general and who read magazines.

My favourite magazine is "Vokrug Sveta" ("Around the World"). It is quite a popular Russian geographic magazine. I also know that it is one of the oldest popular science magazines in the world.  

There are always a lot of interesting articles there. They are about travel, animals, medicine, astronomy, different countries and their culture and history. I have often used these materials for my school reports. Besides, the magazine has lots of colourful pictures, so reading it is really like going on a trip in space and time.

I think I will always read this magazine as long as it is published. I will never get bored with it.

The magazine is printed periodical edition. Like the newspaper, the magazine is one of the major media and propaganda to influence public opinion, shaping it in accordance with the interests of certain ideological groups, social classes, political parties and organizations. The Internet magazines began to appear on the network. At first, on the sites began to lay out the archives of publications, later began to appear online journals. Because the magazines are published less frequently than newspapers, they have low urgency of presenting information, but they have more opportunities for a detailed analysis of the events, reflections, summarizing, etc. "Architectural Journal" is a magazine, focus on practicing architects and designers, builders, suppliers of building materials, real estate agents, as well as all those interested in contemporary practice of architecture and construction. The magazine has been published since 1992. The magazine is a in full color, available by subscription within Russia.
