Music in Our Life I love music, I think people can not live without it. The first thing I do in the morning I switch on my tape — recorder. We can hear music everywhere: in the streets, in the shops, on TV, over the radio, in the cars, in the parks, everywhere. I think it's really doesn't matter what kind of music you prefer: rock, pop, classical, jazz. A lot of people are fond of music. They buy tapes, go to the concerts, visit Concert Halls and Opera Theatres. I enjoy listening music because it reflects my moods and emotions. Very often when I'm blue, I play my favourite merry songs and feel much better. Sometimes I attend music halls and the concerts, when popular groups and singers are there. I like watching music programs on TV. I like to know more and more about popular talented groups and singers I like. One wall of my room is covered with posters of "Bon Jovi", "Scorpions", "Roxette", Russian singers Agutin, Sjutkin, Linda and others. Some people go to musics schools, they play different musical instruments, sing in the chorus, try to compose music. Unfortunately there are so many ungifted singers on the stages, that it makes me sad. To have a good producer doesn't mean to have good ears and voice. I think that only talented people can claim to be singers.

Они покупают кассеты, идут на концерты, посетить Концертные залы и оперных театров. Мне очень нравится слушать музыку, потому что она отражает мое настроение и эмоции. Очень часто, когда я голубой, я играю мои любимые песни веселые и чувствовать себя намного лучше. Иногда я хожу музыкальные залы и концерты, когда популярные группы и певцы там. Я люблю смотреть музыкальные программы по телевизору. Я хотел бы знать больше и больше о популярных талантливых групп и певцов, которые мне нравятся. Одна стена моей комнаты покрыта плакатами "Bon Jovi", "Scorpions", "Roxette", российские певцы Агутин, Сюткин, Линда и другие. Некоторые люди идут в Musics школы, они играют на различных музыкальных инструментах, поют в хоре, пытаются сочинять музыку. К сожалению, есть так много бездарных певцов на этапах, что это делает меня грустным. Для того, чтобы иметь хороший производитель не значит иметь хороший слух и голос. Я думаю, что только талантливые люди могут претендовать на певцов.

Yesterday protesters managed to hold up work on the Oldbury bypass. Protest leader Alison Compton defended the action by members of the Green World group. 'If we don't protest, soon (►) there'll be (there / be) no countryside left,' she told reporters. The bypass is now well behind schedule, and if the protesters had not held up the work so often, it would have opened two months ago. 'If these fields disappear, we'll never see them again,' said Ms Compton. 'Why can't we use public transport? If more people travelled on buses and trains, we wouldn't need new roads. If the motor car had never existed, the world would have been a more pleasant place today.' But many people in Oldbury want their new bypass. 'If they do not build it soon, the traffic jams in the town will get worse,' said Asif Mohammed, whose house is beside the busy A34. 'We just can't leave things as they are. If things remained the same, people's health will suffer even more from all the pollution here. It's terrible. If we don't get the traffic out of the town, I will go mad. If I had known earlier how bad this problem would get, I would have moved out years ago. But now it has become impossible to sell this house because of the traffic. The government waited too long. If they had done something sooner, there would be less traffic today' And the protest is making the new road even more expensive. 'If this goes on, there won't be enough money left to finish the road,' says the Transport
