сделать диалог на эту тему). Libraries are very important in the life of all people. We can't buy all the books we want to read. That's why we take out books from libraries.
A lot of people go to libraries on Saturdays. They have some time to spare, because Saturday is a day off. They bring their books to the library and go home taking new books.
The librarians take books from the people who come in and give them some new books to choose for reading at home.
In a book there is a little pocket and in this pocket there is a piece of paper. The librarian takes this piece of paper out of the pocket in the book. She fills it in, that is, puts the date on the piece of paper and on the right page of the book. Then she puts the piece of paper in the person's reading card.
Speaking about libraries it is necessary to admit that Moscow holds the first place among all the other cities of the world for the number of its libraries. The largest library in the world is the State Lenin Library with an overall fund of 21 million various titles in 166 languages.
It has 22 reading-rooms, special halls for scientific reference work, for children and youth, for current periodicals, reference books, manuscripts and for other purposes.
The library has a book exchange service with 60 countries of the world.
I enjoy reading books. And it doesn't matter what kind of book it is. It can be a collection of short stories, a book of poems or adventures. I equally enjoy them all. But there's one thing that matters. When I choose a book for reading, it shouldn't be dull but interesting.
I used to get some of my books from my school library. I must admit our school library had a good stock of books and the librarian was always ready to help in one's choice of books. A great number of volumes filled the shelves. One could find there books of adventure stories, historical novels and tales that opened up panoramas of life and history of other countries, psychological novels, collections of short stories, the immortal classics.
Our school library subscribed to several newspapers and magazines. They kept us well informed about the latest developments in this country and abroad, news in the spheres of science, art and literature.
Though I attend libraries on a regular basis, I buy quite a lot of books too, particularly those that I read before and enjoyed reading. I like to have them in my room so that I can turn to them not only once but time and again» I derive an utmost pleasure from sitting in the room where my books are and even if I am not reading them, I like to look at the books on the shelves and to feel that I have my friends around me, friends that will never let you down, that will never betray you.

Hundreds of years ago there was no problem of what working people could do in their free time. Their hours of work were so long that they had hardly any leisure. Nowadays it’s very difficult to name all the activities, entertainments and hobbies run by people in their free time.

I have several hobbies which I enjoy doing after school, both indoors and outdoors. Sometimes I wonder how I fit them all into my schedule because I have a lot of homework. Every day I have not much time to relax. In that period I usually rest after hard school day, listen to music, watch TV or read books. I like listening to music. I like different kinds of music and may listen from rock music to classical. It depends on my mood.

I like watching TV, though my parents not very happy about my spending hours in front of the telly. I agree that there are many mindless programs, but I, of course, watch TV selectively and have my own preferences. I like to watch some sports programs, quiz shows and the news. And I like scientific programs, though some of them require background knowledge to enjoy them completely.

I like reading. Books bring me pleasure and delight. Thanks to books we learn to express our thoughts and feelings more exactly and, of course, books are the richest source of information. Sometimes my friends and I exchange opinions about books, speak about them, exchange books. Among my favourite books are fantasy, philosophy and detective books

How to develop social skills
The science of the development of social skills includes the study of the dynamics of social interactions between individuals, groups and communities. Socially developed individuals value human rights and realize the need for harmony of social ties for the development of people. The science of social skills covers a fairly wide range, beginning with their development, and expanding the level of public awareness that leads to social activity and social transformations. Here are some tips for developing social skills.

Steps
Edit

1
Think about the requirements of individuals and groups. People need to be heard, valuable, respected and in demand. Learn to feel it in people. For children, this means learning to share toys and play quietly on the playground. In adults, this means taking into account the needs of relatives, friends and co-workers, and also practicing disinterestedness.

2
Define your role in conflict situations. Use of excessive force, intimidation and aggression - generalized strategies during conflict resolution. Some people try to avoid conflicts at any cost. Others join passive people or behave passively-aggressively. Consider the role that you play in resolving conflict situations, and start living a more socially-serene life.
Focus on the general features and things that you agree with. Too strong emphasis on social differences can lead to disharmony. For children, this may be the choice of a game that both will like. For adults it can be participation in negotiations, search for a compromise solution and other actions that will lead to better understanding and easy communication.
Develop skills in conflict resolution. Take lessons in conflict resolution or spend time talking with people or watching the behavior of leaders and mentors who are known for their harmonious nature.

3
Increase your sensitivity to social order and harmony. In children and adolescents, this may mean the same attitude towards other children, regardless of their popularity or style of clothing. For adults, accordingly, an increase in sensitivity to social justice can be manifested in the fact that they will find time to watch news from around the world, and also support the development of human rights.

4
Develop toward social problems. Racism, sexism and poverty are just a few examples of issues that are devouring modern society. Children can learn more about this in the school or at home. For adults, it is a good idea to find suitable courses, participate in discussions or help in volunteer programs created by organizations that are struggling with these ailments.

5
Leave your comfort zone to practice with groups that you do not know. Departure to another part of the city or traveling to another country will present you other cultures and lifestyles that will significantly expand your vision of the world. The knowledge of different religions, cuisines and life styles will be very useful for expanding your social circle and building your attitude to different points of view.

6th
Practice compassion. Social transformations require commitment to learning and understanding opposing points of view. Develop sympathy by imagining yourself in the place of people in a different financial situation or simply in worse situations. Children can be taught this if they offend another person.

7th
Stick to the social skills development plan. Leaving into apathy and isolation can very easily and quickly suspend your development. Develop a plan that will support your social life.
Serve your society. Find opportunities to work in schools, cultural centers, political organizations, religious communities or neighborhood activities.
Take part in social activities on an ongoing basis. Find yourself an occupation that requires you to listen and fulfill your needs
