Смотрите: в значениях английского слова (в данном случае convince-убеждать,убедить) присутствуют значения что делать;что сделать. Как различить,если написал к примеру he convinced him он убеждал его от он убедил его или в каком времени употребляется что сделать, а в каком что делать?
