The flight was long and tiring, but at the moment we (4) (go) through the hotel doors, the vacation really (5) (begin) to be fun. The hotel (6) (be located) directly on the beach, and we (7) (have) a marvellous view of the sea from our room. Nearby there (8) (be) a small village which (9) (have) only about 300 inhabitants, but lots of small local cafes. We (10) (spend) our days swimming, sunbathing, playing volleyball and having a very relaxing time indeed. We also (11) (take) a number of long walks around the island.
