1. Mary told Martha to tell Colin that she couldn't come and see him yet, because she was very busy in the garden.
2. Martha said that he would become angry when she told him those.
3. Mary answered that she couldn't stay, because Dickon was wainting for her. She added that she had'nt been in the garden the day before. She told Martha to tell Colin to read or look through his books
4. Martha said that he had been waiting for Mary sicnce seven o'clock. She asked if Mary couldn't come just for a minute?
5. Mary said that she couldn't and didn't want to. She added that se would come to see him in the evening.
And Mary told Martha not to look at her in this way.
