Help me please with English

Many употребляется только с исчисляемыми существительными во множественном числе:There are many children in the park. There are many expensive cars in front of that house. Нет никакой разницы, с какими существительными употреблять словосочетание a lot ofThere are a lot of children in the park. There is a lot of water on the floor.Поэтому в случае затруднения в определении качества существительного, можно смело использовать a lot of.В отрицательных и вопросительных предложениях обычно используются только much/many:There isn't much water on the floor.
