About a week before I went to Peter's birthday party.  I bought him a present. I got to the party early but as soon as I arrived I gave him the present and he liked it. Then some more people came and the party started.  First we had a drink.  Next we had tea.  During tea I talked to Sue but as soon as we started talking her mother phoned. There was an emergency at home and she went home. But she came back  later. It was a summer evening and we went outside. Suddenly the moon came out and we all looked at the moonlight in the garden.  After that we went back in again. We played some music, talked and danced. In the end we all went home. It was a good party.
