4 Choose the correct words.​

I think the summer - the best time of year, because the heat around very nicely and we have a wonderful opportunity to relax . Summer - the time of holidays and vacations. We can go anywhere, to spend time by the river or a lake on fresh green grass , swim in the warm water , or climb mountains, or play games , ride a bike , etc.    I'll tell you the most memorable moment of the past summer vacation. Придаточные предложения в английском языке входят в состав сложноподчиненных и выполняют функцию одного из членов предложения, являясь как бы его развернутым вариантом.

Например...: В этом предложении обстоятельство выражено одним словом – наречием образа действия carefully:

I was driving carefully. – Я вел машину осторожно.

А теперь развернем обстоятельство, заменив его придаточным предложением образа действия. Получится такое сложноподчиненное предложение:

I was driving as if I had china on my backseat. – Я вел машину так, будто у меня на заднем сиденье лежал фарфор.

Противопоставление:

Антитеза (Antithesis) – английский лексико-синтаксический стилистический приём противопоставления противоположностей. Два параллельных предложения противоположного смысла соединяются в синтаксическое целое. Противопоставленные слова приобретают противоположные контекстные значения.

They speak like saints and act like devils – Они говорят как святые, а действуют как черти

Some people have much to live on and little to live for – Некоторые имеют многое для жизни, но мало для цели

Антитеза подчёркивает диалектическое единство двух противоположностей.
