Watching TV is the most popular entertainment in UK. About 97 per cent of homes have a colour television set.There are more thhan 520 TV channels in the UK. As for the UK press, there are 11 daily national newspapers and 11 Sunday national newspapers. Each day about 35-45 million people learn about the news from newspapers.
More than 39 million UK homes use the internet. About 73 per cent of adults "go online" regularly. ​
