In my opinion, fairytales and fables are much more than simple stories to entertain and amuse children. Many of them have quite a deep sense and can teach us a lot of important things. As for me my favorite fairytale is undoubtedly The Ugly Duckling. This fairytale tells us a story of a small duckling whom everyone thought to be ugly, before it grew up and turned into a beautiful swan. The Duckling was often treated unfairly and unkindly, but its decision to remain kind-hearted and never give up was eventually rewarded. This story encourages children to believe in the power of good and understand that the real beauty hides inside. That is why, The Ugly Duckling inspires a lot of people all over the world, regardless their age.

На мой взгляд, сказки и басни - это гораздо больше, чем просто истории, чтобы развлечь и позабавить детей. Многие из них имеют довольно глубокий смысл и могут научить нас многим важным вещам. Что касается меня, моя любимая сказка, несомненно, Гадкий утенок. Эта сказка рассказывает нам историю маленького утенка, которого все считали некрасивым, пока он не вырос и не превратился в прекрасного лебедя. К утенку часто относились несправедливо и недобро, но его решение оставаться добродушным и не сдаваться в конце концов были вознаграждены. Эта история побуждает детей верить в силу добра и понять, что настоящая красота прячется внутри. Именно поэтому Гадкий утенок вдохновляет многих людей по всему миру, независимо от их возраста.
