Much was done by people to reach the present state of human development. It is necessary to say that it was the Russian people who had a huge impact on the development of the world science and culture, literature, music and painting. It is almost impossible not to name a branch of science in the development of which the Russian scientists have played the greatest role.
But now it is going to be about the one whose name I would especially like to outline and should be certainly noted. The name of whom brings to memory that it was him who became the first human to journey into outer space. Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin was that one, indeed. He flew into space aboard Vostok 1 on April 12, 1961, and made one orbit of the earth. A worldwide hero's welcome awaited Gagarin when he returned to Moscow. He was appointed a deputy of the Supreme Soviet, awarded the Order of Lenin, and named hero of the Soviet Union.
Taking all above mentioned into consideration, I can state with no doubt that Yuri Gagarin is, indeed, an example of courageous man and a person to admire and look up to. It's hard to be famous but, who knows, if you are the one who's able to hold all those challenges up that many of glorious people like Yuri did once.
