City vs Country
According to the statistics more and more people nowadays live in cities and
towns. Villages do not seem to be very popular. It is easy to explain.
Life in the city is much easier than in the country. Cities have developed transport
systems, quick access to medical aid, education, information, sports, shopping
malls. There is more entertainment in the city than in the country.
In cities there are also possibilities for cultural development: theatres, cinemas, art
galleries. In the city people have more chances to be employed, as the number of
jobs is greater than in a village.
The Style of Life in the Country
In the city people live in apartments with central heating, gas, electricity, and other
modern conveniences.
In many villages residents still use coal and wood to warm their houses.
Sometimes they have to bring water from the well. Villagers grow vegetables, fruit
and berries in the gardens and work on their plots even at weekends.
Many villagers raise cattle and domestic birds. Some villages do not have access to

I loved sleeping, so I never got up  before 8 a.m. My mum waked me up. I had breakfast (at half past eight). I went to school at quarter to nine. School started at nine o'clock in England. I had lunch at school at half past twelve. Lessons started again at 1.15 p.m. We finished school at 3.30 p.m. I came home at quarter to four.

After school I was tired and  I never did my homework before dinner. My brain worked best after dinner. We had dinner at 6 p.m. I watched TV after school. My favourite sport programme started at twenty past four. I didn't go to bed before 11 p.m, but I went to bed after midnight.
