I live in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. There are many interesting places. One of them is the sculpture that the Sculpture "Policeman" 
Part of a series of sculptures depicting the residents of Nizhny Novgorod in the late XIX century. The sculpture was installed at the beginning of the Big Pokrovskaya street to the square of Minin and Pozharsky. She appeared here in 2006 for the city Day. The bronze sculpture depicts a policeman of the nineteenth century, clothed in the form of the time, in his belt he had a sword and a gun.

Lake Baikal is one of the most famous landmarks in Russia. The lake is situated in Southern Siberia. It is the world’s largest freshwater lake. It holds a fifth of the world’s unfrozen fresh water. It is also the deepest lake in the world. Besides, it is considered the oldest lake on our planet. Lake Baikal is home to over 1700 species of both animals and plants. In 1996 the lake was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
