Yesterday morning I ate a breakfast. And after that I decided to go to the cinema to see a premier of the famous film and offered my friend to join me. But he suggested to go to the swimming pool instead, because we swam in the pool only last month. I packed my clothes and the clean towel and my backback became heavy. We met at the bus station. He was riding a motorbike. He told me the lattest news and mentioned one scientist. That scientist was very intelligent and really amazing. He finished a huge project. He invented some high-technological device. My friend found that information in the internet.

That’s why I knew I was going to become an engineer already when studying at the secondary school. It is connected with many aspects. First of all, my granddad was also an engineer. Secondly, my teachers say I have necessary abilities for becoming a professional engineer. Thirdly, I’m sure having such education one can get a prestigious job. One of the institutions in my region that prepares engineers is the Petersburg State Transport University. My parents would be happy if I enter this university. It will give me many opportunities for career development. I have always had a talent for maths and physics. I enjoy working with facts and figures, solving problems. So, I see engineering as the perfect extension of these talents. I hope that after studying at the university I will be able to apply my knowledge to real world situations and bring benefits to the society. They say that the university, where I want to study, educates engineers, who build and maintain railroads throughout our large country. At the moment I’m a high-school student and I get ready for my final exams. If I pass them successfully, my chances to become a student of engineering faculty notably increase. Not only men in my family have been involved in this profession. One of my aunts, who lives in Moscow, is also a professional engineer. She promised to help me with practical part, when needed. Finally, I want to add that I’m aware that being an engineer isn’t easy. It is challenging both mentally and physically, but I’m ready to give it a try.Родители всегда говорили мне, что я должен выбирать будущую профессию заранее. Вот почему я знал, что я хочу быть инженером уже тогда, когда учился в средней школе. На это есть много причин. Прежде всего, мой дед был также инженером. Мои родители были бы счастливы, если бы я поступил в этот университет. Это даст мне много возможностей для карьерного развития. Я всегда был талантлив в математике и физике. Мне нравится работать с цифрами и фактами, решать задачи. Поэтому я вижу в инженерии идеальное развитие этих талантов. Надеюсь, что после учебы в университете я смогу применить свои знания в реальных ситуациях и принести пользу обществу. Не только мужчины в моей семье были вовлечены в эту профессию. Одна из моих теток, которая проживает в Москве, также является профессиональным инженером. Она обещала мне с практической частью, если будет необходимо. Завершая, я хочу добавить, что я знаю, как нелегко быть инженером. Это сложная задача, как в умственном, так и в физическом плане, но я готов попробовать.
