A car has three main parts: an engine or motor, a chassis and a body. The engine is the energy source that makes the wheels spin and the car move. It includes a fuel supply system, a cooling system, a lubrication system and an ignition system. Most car engines have six or eight cylinders. The chassis includes a power train (transmission), a chassis, as well as a steering and braking system. The power train transfers power from the motor to the wheels of the vehicle. The structure of the transmission, in turn, includes a clutch, a gearbox, a cardan gear or propeller shaft, main gear, differential, rear axle and drive shafts. The undercarriage consists of a frame, axle beams, wheels and wheel suspensions. The body consists of a hood, mud flaps and accessories: heater, stereo recorder, windshield wipers, air conditioner, speedometer, etc.
