This 16-minute show o... A two 16-year-olds
16 weeks in 16 different countries. Pete and
Chris set 1 three weeks ago, and in this
week's programme they're in Laos. How are they
getting 2 ?
Things were going fine until
the day they were in the countryside riding a
motorbike. They had a 3 old maps, but
weren't sure which way to go because the road 4
weren't in English,
Then the motorbike stopped working. A man
5 to help them, but Pete wanted to fix it 6
Two hours later, they were still there
and it was starting to rain. Chris thought they 7
leave the motorbike and catch a bus
instead, but Pete said no. They argued, and,
in the end, Chris found a bus 8
... and
went back to their hostel alone.
Then Pete 9arrived at the hostel
after midnight, he was really wet and dirty,
and he was 10with Chris for leaving him on him own.

1) Специальные вопросы ко всем членам предложения, кроме подлежащего (и его определения) строятся так же, как и общие вопросы – посредством инверсии, когда вс или модальный глагол ставится перед подлежащим.
2) Специальные вопросы к подлежащему или к определению подлежащего – единственный тип вопросов, в которых не происходит инверсии и соблюдается прямой порядок слов ,характерный для повествовательного предложения.

Например:

Who will go the cinema today?
Кто сегодня пойдет в кино?

When will we go the cinema?
Когда мы пойдем в кино?

Where will we go today?
Куда мы сегодня пойдем?

Общий вопрос – это вопрос, требующий ответа "да" или "нет". В вопросах такого вида на первое место ставится вс глагол, после которого следует обычный порядок слов.

Например:
Are you from Brazil?
Вы из Бразилии?
Возможные ответы: Yes, I am. / No, I am not.

Did you meet Andy?
Вы видели Энди?
Возможные ответы: Yes, I did. / No, I did not.

Was she at home yesterday?
Она вчера была дома?
Возможные ответы: Yes, she was. / No, she was not.

 

Можно сделать вывод, что специальные вопросы задаются к любому члену предложения (кроме подл). А с общими вопросами по легче, можно посмотреть примеры.

 

My place where I can relax is my room. My room is very comfortable and cozy. There is wallpaper in it. Wallpaper is pink, it is my favourite colour. There are big windows, so my room is well-lit, There is a very big and soft bed. Sometimes I can dream on it. There is also a chair with a TV. When I get tired I can watch TV and sit on my cosy chair. I have a workspace in my room, it is very comfortable, there is a computer. I can chat or play on my computer. So my room is excellent place where I can relax.
