Summative Assessment for the 2nd term Grade 6
Reading
Task 1. Read the text and do the tasks.

Daniel Jacob Radcliffe is an English actor and producer. He was born on 23 July 1989 in London, England. He was brought up in a working class family. His father is a literary agent and his mother worked as a casting agent for BBC.
He is best known for playing the boy wizard Harry in the movies based on J. K. Rowlings Harry Potter books. Radcliffe attended two different private schools in England. He suffered from bullying in the school after he started getting famous through his movies.
Daniel Radcliffe, an only child, wanted to be an actor from an early age. He began acting at age six when he appeared as a monkey in a school play, and he enjoyed the experience very much. However, his parents would not allow him to audition for professional roles, so he missed the role of Oliver Twist in a film adaptation of nineteenth-century English author Charles Dickens. They thought Daniel was too young. Anyway, he continued to ask his parents to let him try out for other shows.
When Daniel was ten he caught the attention of television producer Kate Harwood, who was impressed by his charm and simplicity, and he was cast in the title role of David Copperfield (1999). Two years later Radcliffe appeared in the film The Tailor of Panama (2001). Later that year, he was chosen to play Harry Potter in the movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (called Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone in the United States). The movie tells about Harry Potter's journey from his unhappy life to his enchanted existence as a young wizard learning his trade at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Released in November of 2001, the first film in the series scored a huge success at the box office, earning close to $1 billion worldwide. Over the next 10 years, Radcliffe played the lead role in seven sequels of the film. During this period, Daniel became one of the highest-paid actors in the world, earned worldwide fame and popularity. His income from playing in the series about Harry Potter made him the richest teenager in Britain. For example, he got around £ 5.6 million for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
But Radcliffe is not only very rich, he is also generous. He has contributed to many charities, including Demelza Hospice Care for Children.
Following the success of the Harry Potter films, Radcliffe has been in many other movies and theatre plays.
Now, at age 31, David Radcliffes name is well known around the world.

The nature in Spain is very beautiful, and all trees were green when we came there. I saw the deep and blue sea, and I wanted to swim. But on the third day of our staying in Spain we saw dark clouds, and so we decided to go sightseeing around the town. There I saw real Spain’s life. It was very attractive to me.

During the first week of our trip we only swam in the sea. It was very warm with large waves. Near the rocks there were a lot of different fishes, and all the tourists watched them. One day we went on the excursion. It was the excursion to the Salvador Dali Museum – a famous Spanish painter. We went to his castle and admired his garden around it. There were many trees and beautiful flowers. But the main purpose of our trip was to see his paintings. All the pictures are very unusual and strange. But this mystery is a drop of real art. And what his moustaches are! We also saw his wife in his paintings. So I can say that the excursion was amazing. Near the castle we saw a field of sunflowers. It was all yellow and very beautiful. After the excursion we went to a Spanish cafe. There we tasted delicious pasta.

It was the best day of the trip, I should say. We bought a lot of souvenirs and books about the life of Salvador Dali. I think that when you come to Spain, you should visit this Museum
