how would you feel if you had to stay up there? Believe it or not, a Dutch organisation is planning to send
humans to live on the planet Mars! The purpose of the Mars One project is to build a small village on Mars where
people can live. Thousands applied for a place in the mission, but only 24 people can go on the first spacecraft
However, before they leave, there is a lot of work to do. The astronauts have to train very hard for their mission
and study science, technology and medicine. Mars One is also going to send a rover in 2018 to test some of the
technology the astronauts will use. Then, in 2020, another rover will land on Mars. Its job is to find a good place
for the humans to build their village. In 2022, six spacecraft will travel to Mars carrying everything the astronauts
will need to live on Mars, including a machine to produce water and make the air safe to breathe. Two years
later, the astronauts will land and their adventure will begin!

The climate of United Kingdom is humid and mild. There is warm and humid summers and soft winters. British rains are no more than a legend, on practice the rain that lasts two or three hours is a big rarity. From time to time there are not any rain for a few weeks in some regions especially on east side. But the overcast is a very frequent phenomenon.

England is the largest country of the United Kingdom. The population is 53 million people. London is the capital of  England and the largest city of United Kingdom. It is the world economic and cultural center.  Population is more than 8 million people.

Scotland is located on the north part of Scotland Island. The capital is The Edinburg. Scotland has a very hard climate, perhaps because of it the population is only about 6 million people. Scotland is famous by its landscapes of  mountains, picturesque lakes, national parks. The most famous lake is Loch Ness. If believe gossips there is the Loch Ness monster. There are unrepeatable cultural traditions in Scotland.

Wales is the state on east part of British island. The population is about 3000 people. This country is proud multiplicity of fests during the year – musical, theatrical and literary ones.

The United Kingdom has a rich history and culture. There are a lot of historical memorials on its area. For example the Stonehenge.  It’s an ancient metallic construction that is very famous around the world. Interestingly that in that time there is nobody who knows for what this construction was created.

There is very impressive nature site of interest in North Ireland. It is the famous « The Road of  Giants”.  There are about a 40000 columns of volcanic origin which are staying very compactly.

People of the United Kingdom are very polite, friendly and complacent. The most of Brits are very talkative. The good sense of humor is characteristic feature of all country. The Brits are very proud and patriotic people. Anybody who doesn’t  respect  British lifestyle and habits will be set on firmly, despite of The Brits criticize their own country more than other nations.

British cuisine has variety of  traditional dishes. For instance “Fish and Chips” –roasted and squashed fish (usually a cod or a haddock) with chips, large sliced pieces of the whole potato. Ordering this dish is the best way to start an acquaintance with British cuisine. One of the most popular restaurants in Britain is Indian one. You can find it in every city and town. British cuisine is consisted the most from import groceries and a menu  of the cheapest pubs will be included plurality of international dishes.

Although the multiplicity of different cheeses are produced in Britain, the population not very much proud of it, like their neighbors in France. Well known examples are varieties of  The Cheddar (it was called in honor of  Cheddar canyon in Somerset),  The Lancashire ( which is may be either  fat or crumbly) and The Cheshire. The quality of these cheeses can be different and depends on place of buy, so, perhaps the best place for it – the local market.

The Britain is very expensive country even for Brits. A high cost of everything, from food and housing to price on transport. Living in the London and in area of south east of country will cost in 3 times more expensive than in any other region.

The United Kingdom has been the center of education for one thousand years. It has  plenty of  famous universities. The most known universities are Oxford and Cambridge. They haven’t  came down in the world,  are keeping their highest level and are counted as a measurement standard. There are also several world class institutions.

 

 

When Jake woke up on Wednesday morning, he thought it was just another day as usual. He got dressed, had Breakfast, and ready to go to school. When he went outside, however, he realized that something was very, very different people. There were many children,and Jake thought, "why don't they go to school?" In fact, it was a Saturday morning.And Jake totally forgot about this,because leaving the house he looked at the calendar,where it was noted that it is Saturday.Thinking that this is the kids play before school,he approached them but saw that they had no portfolios with school textbooks.He approached the children and asked "why don't you go to school?",what guys said to him "today is Saturday!"
