Megan McCarthy is 14. She lives in Leeds.
I’m 14, but I’m 1.83 metres tall. All my friends are shorter than me and I’m the tallest person in my family. Everyone thinks I’m older than 14. On the bus, they think I’m an adult.
When I started secondary school, everyone stared at me. People were friendlier and more helpful at primary school. But it’s easier now and I’ve got lots of mates.
Clothes are always a problem. I usually buy my clothes at a shop called ‘Long Tall Sally’, but they’re more expensive than ordinary clothes. Shoes are even worse!
There are some advantages. I play basketball and people
say I’m the best player in the school. And tall people often get better jobs and earn more money!
The most difficult thing is that I’m always different from other people. I just want to be the same as everyone else. But I’m tall and I’ll always be tall, so I try to accept it and be positive about it.

Many holidays, customs, rituals have been preserved to our time, and almost every place of honor is occupied by flowers. The life of mankind would be boring and inexpressive without them. They color our everyday life with different colors, add solemnity and beauty to the holidays. With flowers, they are greeted from the maternity hospital and escorted to their last journey. It is difficult to imagine an event without a bouquet, such as a wedding or an event such as a first-grader's trip to school on September 1st. Flowering plants symbolize a new life, youth, spring, the triumph of all living things.

Want to make our life more beautiful? Grow flowers, admire their beauty and share the joy of contemplation with others. Do not wait for a holiday to give a bouquet. Remember: beauty will save the world, and there is nothing more beautiful in the world than flowers

For me there are many important things in a job. First of all is of course my salary. It is a crucial point in any job. If the salary is  high, the quality of job will be much better.  But is it so good, when you have much money, but you hate your work? Of course, it isn't. So, the second important thing for me is my own attitude to work. I need a job which will be interesting, non-straining and not so hard for me. The best thing when you have a job of your dream. Then you will have much pleasure from the things that you do and won't regret about your decision. The next important thing for me is a staff. I hope to have a job for all my life and people which will be working with me will play a great importance in my life. They will be my friends and part of my family. If the staff is bad then quality of job will drastically fall. An the last thing that is the most important for me in a job is my self-assurance. Because when I'm sure in my powers everything will be really great!
