On Christmas Eve, there was a theft in one of London's . A precious stone was stolen from Countess Morcar - a blue carbuncle, one of the most expensive diamonds in the world. Suspicion fell on the brazier, convicted of theft, John Horner, who repaired the grate in the countess's room. A hotel clerk, James Ryder, and the Countess's maid gave evidence against him. The plumber said that he was not involved in theft.

It seems to me that everything in this sketch is very well composed and well described. Therefore, I would not change it.
