Dear Britain,
How are you ? Today is my cousin’s birthday, so I want to tell you about it !
The party took place in the most expensive restaurant in the city. There were lots of tasty dishes and beautiful hall. Mr. and Mrs. Jones gave her clever and very cute puppy. She cried with happiness. We were entertained by clowns, magicians, dancers. It was really cool ! They taught me how to dance tango, make origami. Little puppy wanted to play with me and I threw him a ball, but it hit the bowl with the juice, so three girls were spattered with orange juice. I could hardly resist laughter. It was the best birthday party ever !
And I want to invite you to my birthday party, which will take place this Sunday in Pop’s cafe. I promise you, it will be unforgettable!
See you soon,
Eva (замени своим именем)

№6 ответ: 1)True (...The Hardy Boys and The Nancy Drew Stories were very popular with children...)

№7 ответ: 2)False (Critics thought their plots were very far from the real life of teenagers...)

№8 ответ: 1)True (Some libraries, including the New York Public Library, even refused to include the books in their children’s collections. Ironically, this decision helped sales of the books because children simply bought them when they couldn’t find them in local libraries.)
