Monument to Birzhan-Sal Kokshetau The monument to Birzhan-sal was opened in August 1991. Birzhan-sal is a representative of the classical Kazakh school of song performance, akyn, poet and composer. Birzhan created a kind of nomadic theater that brought together talented youth.

Museum of Literature and Art Kokshetau The Museum of Literature and Art was founded in 1989, and it opened its doors 4 years later. The exposition of the museum is represented by 7000 items of storage. The museum conducts excursions, as well as educational work.
