Helen Keller is one of the most amazing people in the world. She was originally from Alabama in the US and she fell ill with a terrible disease that made her unable to see or hear. When Helen first became ill, she often screamed and behaved very badly. When she was 7 years old, Helen's family found a tutor for her, Ann Sullivan, who also had very poor eyesight.
