wide - wider - the widest

long - longer - the longest

good - better - the best

fat - fatter - the fattest

old - older - the oldest

large - larger - the largest

rich - richer - the richest

poor - poorer - the poorest

young - younger - the youngest

big - bigger - the biggest

bad - worse - the worst

clean - cleaner - the cleanest

short - shorter - the shortest

hot - hotter - the hottest

cold - colder - the coldest

warm - warmer - the warmest

cheap - cheaper - the cheapest

small - smaller - the smallest

brave - braver - the bravest

Сначала приписываешь окончание er , а потом  ставишь артикль the и меняешь на окончание est (более старое по степени).
