The United States has a town named Mineral Park. Also it's called a "ghost town" because there no people living there.
In 1871, 700 people lived in Mineral Park. There was a lot of places to go and to spend a good time. It was a very busy town. There wasn't any cars, so people travelled by train and on horses.
People worked in the mines, and after worked they visited saloons and restaurant. Everyone was happy and wealthy, but not nowadays.
After 1887 Mineral Park started to change. Families moved, shops closed and there was nothing to do. By 1912, the town was nearly empty. Today, the town has only ruined buildings. People sometimes visit this town to know about towns life in the past.

In spring we have a lot of warm sunny days, the temperature rises quickly from day to day and there are lots of heavy rains in this period accompanied by thunderstorms.
