gift-giving customs around the world?
In this article, we're going to explore gift
giving in three countries: India, Italy and
Kazakhstan. Bringing a small gift when you
visit someone's home is a good idea in (1) both /

13. At the cost of somebody's life - used to describe a situation where someone's life was sacrificed or lost in order to achieve something.

14. To face something - to confront or experience something challenging or difficult.

15. Shady avenues - streets or roads lined with trees or buildings that cast shadows, usually creating a cool and pleasant environment.
