I live in Pyatigorsk. This is a very beautiful city. It is located in the Stavropol Territory in the North Caucasus. It is located among five mountains, at the foot of Mount Mashuk. Our city has a small river called Podkamok.

Pyatigorsk is a historical, cultural and health center. Places of interest: Lermontov grotto, the Grotto of Diana, the Failure with blue water, which has an interesting legend, the house of Lermontov, where the great poet lived, the place of the duel where he was killed in 1841, in the wonderful Lermontov gallery and some other places.

There are many cultural places in our city: the Theater of Musical Comedy, many cinemas, libraries, a park of culture and recreation and monuments of ancient architecture. In our city, as in many other cities, there is a church, which is very beautiful. The center of trade is the area of ​​the upper and lower markets. There are many shops and stalls there. A wide street leads there. Our city is a wellness center. It has mineral springs, sanatoriums, hospitals, physical and cultural centers and others. Many tourists visit our city. They are not only from our country, but also from many other countries. There are 3 institutes in our city. They are: pedagogical, pharmaceutical and polytechnical institutes. There are also many technical and secondary schools. I like my city very much, because this is my hometown.
