My name`s Ksusha. I`m 13. I`ve been learning English for three years. I have liked English from the first lesson because I have found it interesting and funny to speak with my friends in a foreign language. I thought it was enough to learn English only at school. Everything changed a year ago.

Last summer I happened to go to Canada. To tell the truth, my aunt and uncle live in Toronto and invited me to see them. I spent my best days with them. Every day I spoke English with native speakers, ate delicious food, did shopping and went sightseeing.

First of all, my aunt and I visited the CN Tower. Itis one of the world`s tallest buildings. It is famous for its glass floor and speed elevators. As for me, I was impressed by the breathtaking view of Toronto from the top of the tower.

I couldn`t help visiting Niagara Falls. They are beautiful and impressive. To quote my aunt, "It was like looking into the face of God".

I was impressed by Casa Loma. It`s an ancient castle. It was built by the extraordinary man Henry Pellatt. He spent all his money on this building. I saw 98 richly decorated rooms, secret passages and towers. I knew a lot about the history of the castle.

Also, I went to Toronto Zoo. It has got more than 5,ooo animals. There are ponds, waterfalls and floral displays.

On returning home I realized that I can learn English not only at school. I can enjoy watching films, read English books in the original, speak with native speakers and understand them. I understood that my education is in my hands.

Perhaps, I`ll go to Toronto to continue my education. I don`t mind studying in Canada. And you?

Я думала, что учить английский только в школе вполне достаточно для получения хорошего образования, но мое мнение изменилось год назад.

летом мне очень повезло, и я ездила в Канаду навестить своих родственников. Мои тетя и дядя живут в Торонто, где я и провела свои лучшие летние каникулы. Каждый день у меня была возможность общаться с носителями языка на английском, пробовать вкусные блюда, ходить по магазинам и осматривать достопримечательности Торонто.

Сперва мы с тетей побывали на телевизионной башне. Она считается одной из самых высоких башен в мире. Она знаменита стеклянным полом и скоростными лифтами. Поднявшись на скоростном лифте на смотровую площадку, я была поражена великолепной панорамой города.

Я не могла не посетить Ниагарский водопад. Он - впечатляющий. По словам моей тети: "Это зрелище достойно господа бога".

Также на меня произвела сильное впечатление Каса Лома. Это - древний замок, построенный необычным человеком Генри Пеллатом. На строительство и убранство замка он потратил все свое состояние. Я увидела множество богато-украшенных комнат, секретных проходов и башен. Я узнала много интересного об этом замке.

Также, я посетила зоопарк в Торонто. В нем более пяти тысяч животных. В этом необыкновенном месте множество прудов, небольших водопадов и цветочных композиций.

Вернувшись домой, я поняла, что можно учить английский язык не только в школе. Можно получать удовольствие читая английские книги в оригинале, общаясь с носителями языка. Я осознала, что мое образование только в моих руках.

Возможно, я снова поеду в Торонто и продолжу свое обучение там. Я не против поучиться в Канаде. А вы?

I like going to school, and I don't understand why some pupils don't like it.. In school, i can discover something new every day. My favorite subjects are math (history) and english. We have great teachers. Each of them teaches well and their lessons are quite interesting.  All classrooms of our school are light and spacious.There are physics and chemistry classrooms where we can make experiments. There are new computers in the computer sciences room. I and all my classmates often go to the cinema,library, theatre, museums and exhibitions. I like my school!
